Hi Danny. This photo is very simple to produce. It isn’t far off from a straight photo out of camera. The only difference is that exposing just for the sky and silhouette of the tree would give a black foreground. You can use HDR, ND grads, or layer masks on two different exposures (foreground and tree/sky). In this particular image I chose to use HDR because it was quick and simple to do so. Normally I would choose to use a ND Grad filter to achieve the same, or very similar, result.

That is a very gorgeous shot. care to share your settings with us and give us some tips on getting a similar shot? how much post processing did you do to get this look? It truly is a fantastic shot and ou should be proud.
